About Us

A love of writing and demand for her services drove Sheila Kennedy to launch Additive Communications in 2003. Kennedy witnessed firsthand how organizations that operate with a lean workforce and budget find it difficult to deliver on all of their communication objectives.

Thirty-seven years of experience in marketing and software professional services enables her to relate to an executive, end-user, and technical audience. Kennedy relies on word-of-mouth and repeat business earned through reliability, dependability, and a passion for quality. Kennedy is a contributing editor for Plant Services magazine (since 2004) in addition to her freelance B2B work. She completed her BS at Purdue University and her MBA at the University of Phoenix, and she is a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) (since December 2015).

Even in her free time, she writes. Kennedy has volunteered as editor of her neighborhood’s newsletter for 22 years.
